Brady Hiestand Advises Fellow Prospect Raul Rosas Jr. After First Career UFC Loss (Exclusive)

Former The Ultimate Fighter bantamweight finalist Brady Hiestand dealt with a massive setback in his career in the TUF finale.

After watching Raul Rosas Jr.’s stunning defeat at UFC 287, he feels Rosas can bounce back similarly.

Hiestand picked up a remarkable come-from-behind TKO win last Saturday at UFC Vegas 71. After an up-and-down first two rounds against Batgerel Danaa, he landed some vicious ground-and-pound strikes to earn his second-straight victory.

Hiestand suffered a split decision loss to Ricky Turcios in the TUF 29 finale in Aug. 2021. He has won both of his UFC fights ever since.

The Spokane, WA native Hiestand knows a thing or two about coming back from tough losses. Both of his career defeats were preceded by emphatic performances, including his first UFC win over Fernie Garcia last November.

Rosas lost to Christian Rodriguez at UFC 287 in one of the biggest upsets of the year. Hiestand feels while Rosas needs some time to deal with the loss, he can return better than ever.
