Tatiana Suarez Details How Relationship With Bellator Star Patchy Mix Helped Her During Brutal Injury Hiatus

UFC strawweight contender Tatiana Suarez relied on her then-budding relationship with Bellator’s Patchy Mix to overcome a long absence.

Suarez will face former UFC strawweight champion Jéssica Andrade in her next UFC fight in Nashville on August 5. She defeated Montana De La Rosa in her long-awaited fighting return in February via second-round submission.

Before the win over De La Rosa, Suarez experienced a four-year hiatus from the Octagon. She suffered multiple injuries over that span and her once-promising career was paused.

Nine fights into her MMA career, Suarez remains one of the most promising prospects in the sport. But, she was on the verge of quitting as she nursed her injuries, before her boyfriend stepped in and helped change the trajectory of her life.

Tatiana Suarez Relied On Patchy Mix During Long Absence

During a recent appearance on The MMA Hour, Suarez revealed how Mix helped her during some of the darkest times of her life and career.
