UFC 292 Countdown previews the main event grudge match between bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling and fan-favorite Sean O’Malley.
Sterling is making a quicker turnaround than he’d like, having fought a tough five-round bout opposite former two-division champion Henry Cejudo in May. He puts his belt on the line against a fighter that many love, but others hate. Rising contender Sean O’Malley made his way into the title picture having launched his UFC career on Dana White’s Contender Series and The Ultimate Fighter.

UFC 292: Sterling vs. O’Malley takes place on Saturday, Aug. 19, at TD Garden in Boston, Mass. The fight card is topped by UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling putting his belt on the line against Sean O’Malley. The UFC 292 co-main event features strawweight champion Zhang Weili squaring off with Amanda Lemos.
