UFC women’s flyweight Casey O’Neill has stepped up to help Tim Schultz, an MMA fighter currently dealing with a dire medical situation.
Schultz, an Australian lightweight, contracted an infection during his time in Thailand this year. In a horrific twist, the infection has spread so severely at this point that it’s actually approaching the bone. Should this spread continue unchecked, Schultz will likely be forced to lose the leg, a tragic setback that will put a premature end to his fighting career.
Taking to Twitter, O’Neill explained the grim health forecast Schultz is currently dealing with. Along with the comment on the matter, ‘King’ shared the link to Schultz’s MyCause page.
